Always hoped you could really go all out with your Android, customizing it to the extreme? If you’re in, you might have heard about ‘watch root. ‘ It’s been all the talk in Android circles lately. So, I’ll be revealing secrets on my watch root experience here, along with a few terms to help you begin your journey.
Rooting
Rooting just means getting that Rooting on your Android. It lets you alter system files and settings that you normally can’t.
Think of it like having the car keys—now you can go anywhere you please! Just a warning: Rooting can alter your warranty and can brick your phone if you make a mistake. When I rooted my phone, I was so excited about releasing all the capabilities. But I had to be extremely careful and do everything correctly, no gaffes.
Superuser Access
Adminstration Access is the highest level you can go on your phone. It lets you put up applications that need that root privilege, like user-built firmware and performance finessers.
These apps can really boost your device’s performance, energy usage, and even throw in some additional capabilities. I used the Adminstration Access to install a custom ROM that made my phone faster and more snappy. It was like moving into a whole new realm.
Custom ROMs
User-built firmware are versions of Android made by developers. They can add new stuff, speed up it, and even rectify errors.
I’ve tried a bunch of user-built firmware and they dramatically transformed my phone into an entirely different state. My personal favorite was LineageOS—it was particularly neat and fluid and had a a plethora of adjustables.
System Tweakers
System optimizer let you customize a variety of things on your Mobile device. They’re ideal for improving efficiency, energy use, and even altering the aesthetics of your phone.
I used some System optimizer to tweak my phone’s processor configurations and it had a profound impact. It’s like giving your phone a good ol’ maintenance check.
